Get married again!
xD I love the expressions in panel 4 and 6
She’s gonna divorce you!!!!! =O
…
just to marry you again ofc , silly cartoonist dude >.>
i think shes finally realized she’ll never get a dream wedding …. again …. her dream has been accomplished and no longer has a goal … except the empty black hole that is called marriage …. lol what am i saying im a single 19 year old dude looking for a gf anyway what do i know lol …. i think itll be awesome as long as u find someone good … and u two seem to be perfect anyway so get her out of that wedding slump … maybe once a year u can plan a play wedding or something just to refresh the vibe lmao
DominicanKig your first statement was right “i think shes finally realized she’ll never get a dream wedding”, –but maybe one day we can renew our vows and have a fancy shin-dig, I still have hope! We had a super tight budget on our wedding.
you can do that???
i thought you’d have to get a divorce.
i’d love to redo a wedding!
…if i had one in the first place.
>.>
from what i saw from the wedding photos u put on the comic page earlier last year, the wedding looked pretty nice … maybe im blind or maybe being a man i have no idea what a “dream” wedding is to a woman lol
Nah our wedding was pretty posh in my opinion. if it were up to me it’s be us two and a judge or something. Anything more than that is pretty classy to me.
If I had a girl id be happy with just that too but im sure every woman “needs” that dream wedding lol
Quick! Divorce her and then re-propose!
Way to bust her bubble… hahaha
I love the use of the subtle backgrounds gives the comic more feel to it I like it.
And Weddings are REALLY fun…..I love attending weddings….hope mine is good when I get married someday.!
Hey Diazes! Remember the discussion here: http://pajamaforest.com/2010/02/19/222/ ?
Well, I just thought I’d leave something for you.

I hope you like it. :)
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I like that better than what I came up with :D I might just have to use that >:D
Genius! You sir are a genius!
Could not stop laughing! “We -are- Bacon” “D:” Laughing as I’m typing this. Fantastic. It’s funnier having read Evan’s first.
I am so glad I checked read the comments on this one. Ahahah. Hilarious.
I am most impressed by the matching fonts. may i know which ones were used.
Thanks, yeah, I wanted to do my research on it before creating the mimic. Mr. Diaz uses a font called “Red State Blue State” (http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=3537), and I played around with trying to mimic a pixel-perfect recreation of font styles used (italics, bold, point size, etc.) by aligning the original text, then replacing the text with the new strings, then aligning the final text again so there’s no weird spacing. Since I don’t have the original Photoshop file involved in this strip, I had to use clone stamping to the best of my ability, while adding in the new Mr. and Mrs. Evan & Janette Bacon.
Just a homage to my favorite comic! :D
I wondered what was going to fill those empty text boxes..
This totally surprised me, I thought it was going to be about something else..
I quite like the one-colour backgrounds, it gives more focus on the people (pssh not people more like you and your wife :] ) and their cute expressions!
Really brings out the characters. Nice one!
I love her expression in the 4th panel and yours/his in the last :3
The way it’s drawn, it feels like you could re-do the comic in pretty much any subtle background. Very nicely done, and as always the faces are perfect. C:
oh, I just noticed…It looks like their eyebrows are floating above their heads.
Frame 4 – Your Semi-True wife seems to do that a lot, such as when you first got your dog.
Frame 6 – Random heart over your head! Evan = Lovin’, Janette = Breaking inside.
Awww, I like this one it’s really cute especially her expression in panel 4 and the little heart above your/his head in the last panel. And I like the backgrounds, oh and there is always vow renual in another ten or so years ;)
Hey Evan, I noticed the subtle backgrounds the millisecond my eyes hit your page, (actually, even while the page bits where heading towards my browser). Good job! Love it. Bet it adds at least a couple of more hours to the production though. Cheers!
I *love* the last expression of him. It totally put a smile on my face :)
That is totally me.
I love the last panel! I’m going to bet that’s what my husband looks like when we have this conversation.
You are still a funny man Evan. I am so glad you keep making these.
The bkg’s are looking really good. I love the
LOL!!! Something like that happened to Eric and I not too long ago too!!! The backgrounds are looking awesome, thumbs up!!
I LOVE the backgrounds. They make it more fun! And you used my favorite face in the last panel! XD
I think the backgrounds look great! keeping them in monochrome without the black outlines the characters have really makes it nice and unobtrusive. Your bright characters on top of that looks great. :D
-Lauren
oh boy a formspring abbout?
goody goody!
Hahahaha!! I love how at the end, Janette’s like “we’re married :/” and Evan is like “we’re married! <3"
Your comic is my favorite thing. . . not really, but I do like it a whole bunch!
I Love the expressions in the end, Poor Janette :( !! Here is a new rule for you, If you can not recall your wedding, IT NEVER HAPPENED!!!! another one is in order! :D :P
Sorry Evan, just trying to help out :P Great job on the comic! Carling and I are loving the idea =D !!!! I expect a 1st anniversary strip, when its due =P
Just read every comic you have, and i have to say, the best web comic ever. 100% the greatest comic.
P.S., stumbled. Landed on pop a wheelie.
I do like the subtle backgrounds. It doesn’t hurt to switch back and forth between background setting and simply color, especially depending on the strip at hand. In this strip it is especially helpful in defining the setting; with the backgrounds of simple color I assume it’s either in the kitchen or the living room of a house… maybe the hall.
Her right eye goes into her hair in the third box. Lol
Actually it’s every single box.
I just found this site on StumbleUpon and it’s awesome! I’m not married, but I’ve been with my girl so long that we pretty much are, so I can relate to most of it. Keep it up and I can’t wait for the next strips!
Thats why you should make some Marriage aniversaries.
She will love you for it.
Poor Wifey =D
