I make my girlfriend these really elaborate silly scavenger hunts, we don’t get to see each other a lot(australia for her) I live in Canada. I got her step mom to help me out, I sent her around her town looking for notes(her step mom placed them for me).
Each note had a word or sentence in it and when she found them all and put them together it said “To one year of us dealing with chronic pain together, one year you’ve made me into a new man, and one year you saved my life. I love you. Happy anniversary babe <3"

Yeah, it is, I just sent her something in the mail but sheesh 100 to send a letter and her favorite shirt she would cuddle up to while here, helps her sleep cause it smells like me. She has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and RSD in her left leg. So I end up carrying her on my back a lot when she can’t walk, got something cute planned for her haha!
Me and my girl, we beat each other up sometimes :) just wrestling or torture!! mwhahaha >:)

I think one of the best parts of this strip is that the inherently absurd funniness of a bubble-pipe has not yet died in the realm of humor.
That and the idea that your lady wants anything to do with you after spending potentially countless hours in a garbage bin lying in wait gives me hope that I might meet someone and that anniversaries might indeed ensue.
I’ve become extra-wordy from reading about Text Adventure games and from not having slept yet – one of which I now remedy.
Ha! And in my sleepiness I didn’t notice until now that whereas you appear blissfully unaware of events to come, your wife is already creeping around the kitchen as if she just heard the calls are coming from inside the house.
I’m always tense, lol!

My wife of 11 years and I do the same as you with one exception…instead of yelling “sneak attack!!” we throw cups of cold water from the frig. It started one day when I was complaining that it was always cold in our bathroom. She is always hot and I am always cold. I was in the shower after one such complaint and she tossed a cup of cold water on me and yelled, “not as cold as this”. Now days this sometimes escalates ito the mad rush to be the first person to get to the kitchen sink gun!!
This is soo my husband and I!! We just moved into a bigger place, so more places for us to hide and scare eachother. Happy anniversary :) Btw, I enjoy the smoking jacket lol
I noticed one thing. In the first panel your wife has a shadow, in the second one she doesn’t. Does that mean, that when you frightend the living organism out of her, did she become a living dead? :D Still following this comic. It’s the best!

Just as everyone keeps noting: completely adorable!
While we haven’t done too many sneak attacks, whenever and wherever we are hanging out, either my boyfriend or I will start a tickle fight. We are both extremely ticklish and by the time we’re done, everyone in the general vicinity knows it. It’s just so much fun to see him wiggle around and laugh like that.

absolutely one of your best strips. the backgrounds are well done, the expressions are great, the last panel is adorable visually… overall it just looks effortless artistically (in a very GOOD way). and the plot is just.. hilarious & heartwarming. *warm fuzzies* I think “Never Lonely” is still my all time fave strip, but this one is up there.

Me and my hubby have been married for four years now, we have two kids and a third on the way now. Not too bad considering I'm 22 years old :p
Anyways since the kids are so young we always have silly time, anything from jumping on the couch pretending wer're evil Wizards (daddys Idea :p) to plain ol' tickle time. My Hubby and I have so much silly time with the kids we sometimes forget silly time for ourselves o.O But when it does happen it's amazing!

I’m not married, but I’m in a great relationship- however we got rid of saying the mundane things like “hello” and “how are you feeling?” etc and replaced it with Mews and Mows- we’ve learnt to tell how the others feeling and what they are asking by the inflections and which they use! =D
